About the Conference

It’s time again for the CBA Labor and Employment Law Section’s annual Employment Law Conference!

Every year, attendees return to the section’s Employment Law Conference because they receive practical, timely information taught by an expert faculty. This year’s faculty includes prominent Federal and state judges, as well as distinguished employment law practitioners from both the plaintiff and defense bars!

This year you will be treated to two full days of instruction, including 14 breakout sessions to choose from! In addition to the always useful case law and legislative update, learn about how to litigate claims under the ADA; how to prepare and defend against an attorney’s fee petition; how to bring and defend cases against governmental entities; how to negotiate severance agreements, and much, much, more! The conference will feature two tracks of breakout sessions: One focusing on in-house counsel and human resources issues and one focusing on litigation matters.

This year’s program will be held in downtown Denver to make attendance as convenient as possible.
